GM Systems
GM Multimedia was originally known as GM Systems, a business partnership specialising in the supply of personal and business computer systems to a limited market within Melbourne's eastern suburbs. GM Systems became a registered entity in the early months of 2001 with it opening its first full-time sales office in the suburb of Nunawading on 1st November 2004.
During the early months of 2005, GM Systems redeveloped its online presence, offering a larger range of computer peripherals such as monitors and other accessories. The redeveloped peripherals pages led to a jump in sales which in turn led to further development of our peripherals range, in particular computer monitors and display adapters.
By mid 2005
GM Systems launched its first dedicated product website called JustMonitors.com.au. This website is dedicated to computer monitors and digital displays. This website is the first of its kind in Australia, a dedicated site where almost every monitor brand is available for comparison and purchase. Many upgrades have since been made to JustMonitors.com.au, including site design, detailed information pages, and a buyers guide, offering information on what to look for in a monitor and some recommendations.
Six months after the launch of JustMonitors.com.au, a new site JustProjectors.com.au was created. JustProjectors.com.au is based on the design of JustMonitors.com.au but focuses exclusively on digital projectors. JustProjectors.com.au is now considered the most informative and detailed retail projector website in Australia.
After huge success in the consumer electronics field of digital displays, GM Systems closed its Information Technology website early in 2006, instead focusing entirely on its core brands of JustProjectors.com.au and JustMonitors.com.au.
