DOA RETURNS (Dead on Arrival)

  • If your product fails within the manufacturer's DOA period (usually 7-14 days) GM Multimedia may offer an immediate replacement with a new unit following the return of the failed unit. DOA Policies vary between brands, please check with GM Multimedia to confirm the DOA Policy that applies to your particular purchase.
  • For DOA claims, goods must be returned to our head office in Melbourne, Australia. (unless otherwise arranged).
  • If returning under DOA, and the product is not directly replaceable, GM Multimedia may replace the item with a similar product or offer a refund at its discretion.
  • Once an item has been returned, and confirmed as faulty, a replacement will be shipped to you at no extra charge.
  • Please note, some products are not covered by a DOA policy.


WARRANTY SERVICE (After DOA)

  • If your product fails within the manufacturer's warranty period but after the DOA period, you may return your product to the vendors/brands authorised service centre for repair (or replacement if required). For your closest service centre please contact the vendor/brand directly or simply call our sales office on 1300 739 131 for assistance.
  • GM Multimedia only sells products that have been authorised for sale within Australia. All warranties are valid within Australia upon display of a GM Multimedia Tax Invoice.
  • Premium warranty plans are available up to 5 years on-site. With an United Electrical premium warranty pack you will receive a a pick up and return service at no charge* if your product fails during the purchased United Electrical period. *pick up/drop off service not available in all areas.

OTHER RETURNS

  • Please contact the GM Multimedia office prior to returning any goods.
  • Within ACCC guidelines for the refund of goods, and in line with the industry practice, if the goods bought have had any use or have been removed from original packaging, no refunds or exchanges will be allowed (except in the event of a special agreement with GM Multimedia).
  • If goods received are not as ordered, please inform GM Multimedia within 24 hours of receiving the delivery. We ask you not to open any packaging as it can be deemed as acceptance of goods and will not be accepted for returns.
  • GM Multimedia do not offer refunds, credit or exchanges based on incorrect, incompatible or unsuitable goods. Please select your goods carefully before placing your order. We offer advice and can assist you when making your purchase decision.
  • In line with the industry standard, shipping cost or any financial charges are non refundable.
  • Cancellation of specially ordered item may result in a restocking fee (up to 50%). This charge is often applied by our suppliers and can be out of our control.
  • Cancellation must be informed as soon as possible, any cancellation after a product has been packed may result in the customer paying for freight, handling and/or restocking charges.
  • GM Multimedia reserve the title of ownership to any goods shipped as result of our error.
