All products are sourced locally through the authorised distribution channel and as such are covered by an Australian warranty backed by our brands. As an Australian business our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law (ACL) . Warranty & return information provided below is in addition to other rights or remedies that you may have under the ACL in relation to your product.
Whilst customers are always entitled to contact GM Multimedia directly for warranty assistance, most projector brands request customers contact its customer service department directly to process claims more efficiently. Many major projector and display brands have service/repair agents around Australia that can provide warranty servicing if required. DOA (Dead on Arrival)
A DOA item generally is a product that arrives faulty. Most brands have a DOA policy allowing a faulty product to be switched out with a brand new product if the fault is reported within 7 days of purchase. To process a DOA claim and get a replacment unit please send us an email right away so return instructions can be provided. On occassions you may need to speak to the brand to obtain a DOA authorisation number first but we will advise you if this is required. Please do not return any item without contacting us first and obtaining return authoristion.
Damaged in Transit Returns
All of our deliveries are insured against loss or damage whilst in transit from GM Multimedia.
Our products are perfectly safe to transport and we very rarely have anything go missing or get damaged. In the very unlikely event your product arrives damaged please do not sign for it, instead ask the courier to return the item to sender. If the damage was not visible until after you have signed/opened the parcel, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt so a replacement can be arranged.
Incorrect Goods Received
If you suspect a wrong product has been sent to you, please contact us right away. We can double check and if an error was made we can arrange the return and replacement. If you suspect a wrong product has been received please do not open the box. GM Multimedia retains ownership of any goods shipped in error.
Change of Mind / Goods no longer required
Unfortunately GM Multimedia does not offer a trial or demo service and cannot accept change of mind returns or return of goods that are no longer required. All products sold are brand new. We are happy to help you select the right product for your needs, just contact us for assistance.
Please do not send any item to GM Multimedia without first obtaining a Return Authorisation from us via email.
